Tukuwool’s Harmas Noittaantila Edition is 100 percent Finnish Kainuu Grey breed wool. The wool for this limited-edition yarn comes from a Finnish sheep farm, Noittaantila, in Tohmajärvi, East Finland.

Tukuwool Harmas is a sport weight two-ply yarn that’s perfect for garments and accessories. Each 50g skein measures out at 150m - enough for a hat or a pair of mittens. Kainuu Grey is a rare Finnish sheep breed named after the province in northeastern Finland where the breed was discovered. Lambs are born black but as they age their fleece turns into various shades of grey. The wool is fine, fluffy, and very comfortable to wear. It shows different stitch patterns beautifully.
