This tailor’s clapper is carved from beautiful tōtara by John Robertson of Wood and Chisel. If you’ve never used one, you’re in for a treat - and so are your seams. Use a clapper to make the most of your iron’s heat and steam.

These measure 300mm long, 47mm wide and 35mm high. John has carved grooves through the middle for ease of handling.
